This year we decided to support a local charity initiative hosted by Taylor Lyons. For the past three years, she has been fortunate enough to gather an amazing team of friends and volunteers who share the same passion for helping others, and together they have successfully been able to organize and host local charity events. They’ve provided meals for the homeless and spent time with them sharing the true spirit of Christmas and the holiday season.

This time around, the event was hosted on the 22nd of December, where they rented multiple trucks filled them up with goodies and drove around the downtown core to hand them out. They provided breakfast meals, drinks, clothing, and care packages to as many people in need as they could find. Their team delivered these items to the homeless, with the goal of putting smiles on their faces, and sharing the joys of Christmas and the holiday spirit.
With the help of Rahmati Group of Companies and Mississauga Consulting, they were able to provide the homeless with an additional 78 coats! A total of approximately 300 homeless people were assisted this year, which is a big jump from last year at 100.
